laravel application

I want to make a laravel application where you can drag and drop divs and send the order of the divs to a database. This order needs to be different for each user.

My questions:

  1. How can i sent JSON with AJAX to a database in laravel
  2. Do i need to make a relationship between the users table in my database and the order table(where i want to sent the order of the divs with AJAX). is this the right way in laravel or is this done another way usually?

It whould be nice if one of you can send me in the right derection.
