Learning Techniques ???? TREEHOUSE VIDEOS ???

Greetings

I am new to Treehouse and I like this plattform. I wanted to ask you question how do you learn in Treehouse : Do you watch the Video completly and than try to code in workspaces and rewatch some scences to remeber what the teacher coded. OR Do you watch the Video and follow along watch the Video and at the same time code in workspaces

Whatever floats your boat, although many people, including I, prefer to follow along with the video and write the code in workspaces.

I follow along. Then after I finish a major section, I try and build a project on my own. I personally learn more by building and getting stuck on my own and having to search stuff up. The videos here and challenges are a great introduction to everything, but it won't stick in my head if I don't use it.

If u have problem ,plz ask in the community. I am a noob too. I was stuck in python to understanding the how those varible and string works. What i want to say is you need to have a period of time to understand how it works. In that period of time, you can't just watch the video and ask. You do have a feeling of stuck in of middle of it. Therefore, don't worry about it. Once you passed this period of time. I was stuck in python basic like 2 moths. After i understand it ,i just complete the java basic in 3 days.

Most of the time, if it's something I'm either brushing up on or trying to get some more knowledge on, I'll just watch the video and follow the code challenges and quizzes. If it's something brand new or something that's taking me longer to get a grip of, then I'll usually try to find a personal project where i can follow alongside it and try to put into a real world situation... I find myself learning better and faster when i can try and place the purpose of the task rather than a set project within the confines of Treehouse.

All i will say is, i really wish Treehouse was available way back when i started!

Where do you find this projects ??
