Link to portfolio item in lightbox

I was wondering, is it possible to make a url to a portfolio item, displayed in lightbox? So when I click the link the website will open and show the item in a lightbox immediately? The website is http://www.roy-bemelmans.com/projects/ and it is build in wordpress and the lightbox we're using is iLightbox.

Sure, it's possible. Top of mind how to do it would be on your single page template, you're going to somehow have to grab the identifier for the correct image from the url, and when the page loads, initiate the lightbox plugin with the correct information about what should be displayed based on what's in the url.
