I keep on getting a bummer! message when doing the list item with the word Portfolio spelling is correct but the system is no letting me go

Great, just remove quotes. It will run fine. 

        <ul>
          <li>Portfolio</li>
          <li>About</li>
          <li>Contact</li>

Hello Ambrocio,

Your error is located in your li elements. You don't have to put the content inside of " ". Everything else is correct, you just need to enter your list items like this:

<ul> <li>Portfolio</li> <li>About</li> <li>Contact</li> </ul>
