list.remove()

states = [ 'ACTIVE', ['red', 'green', 'blue'], 'CANCELLED', 'FINISHED', 5, ] If I change the above list to like this states = ['ACTIVE',['red','green','blue'],'CANCELLED','FINISHED',5,]

I believe this is still same so I tried to delete the last item in the list like this states.remove(',') it keeps saying value error. states.remove([',']) it gives me error as well.

can you help me understand where I'm doing wrong.

lists.py 
states = [
    'ACTIVE',
    ['red', 'green', 'blue'],
    'CANCELLED',
    'FINISHED',
    5,
]

states.remove(',')

The comma at the end doesn't count as an item. You want to remove the 5.

states.remove(5)
