Python Python Collections (2016, retired 2019) Lists Removing items from a list

Lists.py returns fail with code below. Tested with a few different list. Anyone see errors? Using for loops.

Please see the code below. This was tested with a few different lists to collect the indices of non-integer elements in the list and then delete them in the subsequent loop. I am still getting a failure when I submit. Did I misinterpret the solution or task?

messy_list = ["a", 2, 3, 1, False, [1, 2, 3]]
messy_list.insert(0, messy_list.pop(3))
print messy_list# Your code goes below here

indexes = []
for item in range(len(messy_list)):
    if type(messy_list[item]) is not int:
        indexes.append(item)

for item in sorted(indexes, reverse=True):
    del messy_list[item]
messy_list.reverse()
print messy_list

Just so anyone else who get's really frustrated with task 2 knows what to look for. You can simply brute force this task. When I did it, I had to use both del and remove() in different statements to remove the items from the list. Using remove for all of the non-integer elements was not enough.
