Local server page error

whenever i start the rails server now i get this error on the page with the head template is missing Missing template statuses/index, application/index with {:locale=>[:en], :formats=>[:html], :variants=>[], :handlers=>[:erb, :builder, :raw, :ruby, :jbuilder, :coffee]}. Searched in: * "C:/Project/treebook/app/views" * "C:/RailsInstaller/Ruby1.9.3/lib/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/devise-3.2.4/app/views"
