WordPress Modern WordPress Workflow The Staging Server Version Control on Staging

Local to Staging using DesktopServer, Codekit, and Github Desktop.

I am trying to figure out how to go from local to staging using the tools covered in the workflow videos. It's jarringly and confusing that it went straight into command line at these steps which seems a bit counter to the explanations and many of the recommendations covered in the workflow. I would like to stay away from command line. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Dave & Sarah! I agree that there was not so much information when starting a staging server. I must first ask you if you have a vps server going? Otherwise I can recommend Digital Ocean that only costs 5$ per month and you can have more than one site there for that cost. If you got a vps server and have created your account at ServerPilot, the first thing is to connect your server to ServerPilot. You can either do so by just fill in your ip-address and the root password that you get from your server host. In the video Jesse to this manually which you can choose to do if you like by the link under the Connect to ServerPilot button if you click there you will get the same screen that the video shows.
