1,731 PointsLocalhost has a # after it
I'm working on my PHP project and I'm noticing a hash mark after localhost in the search bar. Now I'm new at this but I'm pretty sure that's the tale tale sign of an error some where in my code but I sure as heck don't have a clue as to where it is. This is what it looks like: http://localhost/#
Now I am still working along with the video and have the exact same code as the instructor has for the index.php file and I've made no changes but mine has the hash mark and the instructor's doesn't and I can't figure out why. Please some help me

22,986 PointsMy guess is that you've visited a link like:
<a href="#">Link</a>
See this page for more explanation.
if you hit enter on http://localhost in the url bar, does it still add the # at the end?

1,731 PointsTom, thanks I think that was the problem because I retyped the destination and the hash mark was no longer there, although I don't remember trying out any of the links. Thanks again for your help and be on the lookout for more questions from me because this lesson plan doesn't seem to be as easy to debug as HTML was at least judging by the start of this project anyway.
