It could be that you spelled "contact" wrong in your <li>s

Hi there! Nicholas Vogel is correct. Your text in your list items will have to be spelled and capitalized correctly. However, there is another problem here which is causing the Task 1 is no longer passing issue.

The first task has this in the instructions:

Create a navigation element with an unordered list element after the link inside the header

The key portion here is aftter the link. Your code occurs inside the link. Remember the link is the anchor tag and it begins with <a> and ends with </a>. So all of your code should come between these two lines:

</a> <!-- this is the end of the link/anchor tag -->
<!-- your code should be here -->
</header>
