Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types Use .split() and .join()

lright, let's finish making our menu. Combine the sundaes list into a new string, joining them with a comma and a space

please help me on the last question..

Hi yeshi,

Can you post the code you're trying?

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(";")
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}."
"menu: {}".format(", ".join(available))

You should call the .format method on the end of the menu string that was already created in task 2.

Also, you want to join together the individual items in sundaes not join the available variable.

thanks for the help, but I'm still having trouble passing that.

Ok, have you tried updating your code based on my answer?

You shouldn't have the 4th line anymore and you want to instead call format at the end of your 3rd line. And join sundaes instead of available.

thanks alot, it worked :)
