No one else had this issue?
I've added a new storyboard, and then set the interface and launch screen both to the new "Main.storyboard", then run the app and I still have a black window in the simulator.
I have added the table view controller - so Main.storyboard is not blank.
The log displays the following error - and I have no idea how to define the "entry point":
Failed to instantiate the default view controller for UIMainStoryboardFile 'Main' - perhaps the designated entry point is not set?

This is fixed by checking the attributes on the new storyboard and ticking "Is Initial view controller".

5,790 PointsI had to dig a little further to find this "Is Initial View Controller" check box. When you select the MainStoryboard.storyboard in the navigation area, you must then select the Table View Controller (yellow circle icon at the top). In the utilities area at the right, you should see the View Controller section with the Title and the check box, Is Initial View Controller. Checking that will enable this view controller to load at start. Also notice the arrow now shows to the left of the Table View.
