making other social media icons to match

I would like to use those icons for facebook and twitter. I would like to add linkedin and google+ icons that match them stylistically. Can anyone tell me what I need to do for this to work?

I'm a little confused on the question. I don't think the forums link to the course you're on the way they should, so it's a bit nebulous. Can you give more details?

This is what icon fonts are for, fontawesome has a nice selection of brand icons that can easily resized and have backgrounds modified all with CSS.

They are pretty simple to use http://codepen.io/jamesbarnett/pen/ngbIw

I'm not on that course so I don't know what they look like, but I've been in that situation a time or two. Here's what I would do: Google Images Social media icon / button sets. You'll find something free and likely something that matches the design you have (since there are like twelve bajillion social media icon sets out there). Screw the ones he is using.

Icon Finder (https://www.iconfinder.com/search/?q=social+media) is pretty good too.

Sorry for the confusion. I'm following along with Nick Pettite's creating a portfolio website... I think it's part of the early on "web design" track. In the project files he includes a facebook and twitter icon that I think he has bodified in photoshop. They are idential size and gray. I am wondering if there is a way for me to make icons for linkedin and google+ that will match those stylistically. I don't have photoshop unfortunately.

Haha. Good point. That was going to be my solution if someone didn't give me another, better one.

I guess without a PSD it's probably pretty hard.... though I don't actually know since I'm a coder and have the design sense of Helen Keller.

Yup! Me too. Just tell me what you want it to look like and I'll make it happen!
