Master layout and content layout files.

The android blank project template has master layout and content layout files. But so far all of the treehouse android courses has ignored this template. Why is that? And will this template be the standard in future android courses?

I think this template looks useful for multi screens apps.

It used to be that when you created a blank project it only gave you a main layout. The videos were made during that time. It's not a big enough change to justify updating the videos.
