Max-Width Error in Code Challenge

On Task 2 of the Code Challenge, I'm suppose to adjust the max-width but am getting Bummer message. I've written this code:

wrapper {max-width: 940px;}

What am I doing incorrectly?

that code is right, but your supposed to center the margin. this is the right code

a {
  text-decoration: none;
}

#wrapper {
  max-width: 940px;
 margin: auto;
}

hope this helps!

You need to refer ID property with # sign:

#wrapper {
 max-width: 940px;
 margin: auto;
}

Thank you for your help, everyone! A little after I had posted the question, I discovered that I hadn't referred to the id using the hash-mark and was able to self-correct. Glad that I got some affirmatives and help after, though!
