Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types Use .split() and .join()

menu= "Our available flavors are:{}.". ?

Think I may have to start Pyhton from the start! I forget every reference point for each task. Is this even a variable? What do the squiqly braces mean again? Whats the best way of accessing previous info? My head hurts

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
