Move the 1 to position 0. You can do this in one step with .pop() and .insert().

the_list = ["a", 2, 3, 1, False, [1, 2, 3]] the_list(0,the_list.pop(3)) Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> TypeError: 'list' object is not callable

You need to use the '.insert()' method on your list before the first parentheses. Otherwise, the program is trying to use your list as a callable item such as a function.
