Multiple Arguments

Not sure what i'm doing wrong here, could someone help my out with my code?

function max(number1, number2){
  if number1 >= number2{
    return number1;
  }else{
    return number2;
  }
}

( ) where missing next to the if statement.

function max(number1, number2){
  if ( number1 >= number2 ){
    return number1;
  }else{
    return number2;
  }
}

with functions you can make it also something like this:

function max(a, b){
  if ( a >= b ){
    return a;
  }else{
    return b;
  }
}

An if/else statement has to follow the structure below. Your statement is missing something in this structure

if (condition) {
    // block of code to be executed if the condition is true
} else { 
    // block of code to be executed if the condition is false
}
