my browser doesn't open a splash.php page when I enter local host. It takes me to xampp dashboard. What am I doing wrong

When I open up my browser and type in local host it opens localhost/dashboard on xampp

Click on the "Explorer" button in the XAMPP control panel. When the explorer window opens, open up the "htdocs" folder in that directory. You'll need to place your project in it's own folder under that htdocs folder. The address for your project will look something like "localhost/my_project/".
