HTML How to Make a Website Creating HTML Content Organize with Unordered Lists

My code challenge is asking for an image tag which I believe I have, <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">

Is this not correct?

The code you have for the image is correct, but for that challenge the instructions say, "don’t add any captions or links. Just the images!"

Try your code again but take out the link tags: < a href="img/numbers-01.jpg"> </a>

it is correct but alt can be empty or can have some text. so make a space between the quotes like this alt= " "

Your href is linking to the wrong place. You can't direct it to an img. for example.

          <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt="">
         </a>
