My code is not working!

I think the code below should work- I can't see what is wrong with it. Could you help me please?

}

#gallery li:nth-child(4) { clear: left; }

If I recall correctly, the '4' in

gallery li:nth-child(4) { clear: left; }

Should be '4n'
