my code keeps taking too long to check and it keeps asking to reload

Well, I can confirm that your code works perfectly fine for me - I copy-pasted it in and it passed right away. I've had the issue you're describing, though - the best I can recommend is to restart your browser and give it another shot.

Disable any ad-blocker extensions you have installed when visiting teamtreehouse.com, i.e. whitelist this site. I have noticed the same issue when ublock origin was enabled.
