My print with end not working

End parameter problem

mapping.py 
TILES = ('-', ' ', '-', ' ', '-', '||',
         '_', '|', '_', '|', '_', '|', '||',

         ' ', ' ', ' ', '^', ' ', '||'
)

for x in TILES:
    if x != "||":
        print(x, end="")
    else:
        print "\n"

Since "print" is a function, it should be followed by parentheses. And be aware that if you don't specify an end, "print" will add a newline.

So if you write: print("\n") — you will get two newlines.
