12,553 PointsHi Nick, In Ruby, the syntax for "else if" is "elsif".
print "Enter name: "
name = gets.chomp
if name == "Nick"
puts "That's my name, too!"
else
puts "Hi #{name}!"
end
print "Modify your name. Type 'uppercase' or 'reverse': "
answer = gets.chomp.downcase
if answer == "reverse"
puts "This is your name backwards:"
puts name.reverse
elsif answer == "uppercase"
puts "This is your name in all uppercase letters:"
puts name.upcase
elsif answer == "both"
puts name.reverse.upcase
else
puts "Okay, Maybe Later."
end

12,553 PointsWhat do you mean by "it never runs properly"? Copy and past the code in your Ruby workspace, and run it. Just tested it again myself and all is working fine.
