HTML How to Make a Website Creating HTML Content Create Navigation with Lists

<nav tag in code>

look at my <nav> tag, it says something is wrong

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Nick Pettit</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <header>
      <a href="index.html">
        <nav></nav>
        <h1>Abe A</h1>
        <h2>Photographer | Student</h2>
      </a>
    </header>
    <section></section>
    <footer>
      <p>&copy; 2015 Abe A.</p>
    </footer>
  </body>

You have your anchor tag outside the navigation tags

<header>
  <nav>
    <a href="index.html">
      <h1>Abe A</h1>
      <h2>Photographer | Student</h2>
    </a>
  </nav>
</header>

That's something what it should look like.

The task wants you to add the nav element after the link in the header, not around. It also wants you to include an unordered list inside the nav element you create.

    <header>
      <a href="index.html">
        <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
        <h2>Designer</h2>
      </a>
      <nav>
        <ul>

        </ul>
      </nav>
    </header>
