Need clear idea about Object

I'm not 100% clear about Object. To make it simple, i think every variable as an Object. Is that ok or it has boarder in aspect ?

Almost everything in JavaScript is Object.
For example

var arr = [1, 2, 3];
// its prototype chain
arr ----> Array.prototype ----> Object.prototype ----> null
