i need explaining on why my code doesn't work

var counter =4;

for (var counter = 4; counter < 156; counter++; ) { console.log(counter) }

You will need a semicolon after your function inside of your for loop.

JavaScript
var counter = 4;
for (var counter = 4; counter < 156; counter++) {
console.log(counter);
}

Create a for loop that logs the numbers 4 to 156 to the console. To log a value to the console use the console.log( ) method. This is the question i wrote the code for.
