The constructor must have the same name as the class. Also, the first task is asking for a default constructor with no parameters:

public class Spaceship {
    public String mType;

    public Spaceship() {
      mType = "SHUTTLE";
    }

    public String getType() {
      return mType;
    }

    public void setType(String type) {
      mType = type;
    }
}

For the second task you need to add a second constructor, but this one takes a String parameter to update mType:

public class Spaceship {
    public String mType;

    public Spaceship() {
      mType = "SHUTTLE";
    }

    public Spaceship(String type) {
      mType = type;
    }

    public String getType() {
      return mType;
    }

    public void setType(String type) {
      mType = type;
    }
}
