def stats(dic):
fin_list = []
for k , v in dic.items():
pri_list = []
pri_list.append(k)
pri_list.append(len(v))
fin_list.append(pri_list)
return fin_list
As far as I understand it, python doesn't use curly braces like other languages it uses indentation. So the function and the return statement are seen as separate. So it should look like this.
def stats(dic):
fin_list = []
for k , v in dic.items():
pri_list = []
pri_list.append(k)
pri_list.append(len(v))
fin_list.append(pri_list)
return fin_list
