19,323 PointsHiya Nick! There are couple of issues with your code.
- variable "menu" needs to be "format" with variable "display_menu" , which in turn is equal to "join" sundaes by ", ".
display_menu = ", ".join(sundaes)
- You can totally achieve it in the single statement. Since "sundaes" will be a list , so we cant pass it directly to our "format" method to "menu". But "format" method can accept the "string" so we'll convert the "sundaes" into string by "joining" it with ", " and pass it to variable to variable "menu".
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(", ".join(sundaes))

Courses Plus Student 316 PointsIt is asking to Combine the sundaes list into a new variable named display_menu, where each item in the list is rejoined together by a comma and a space (", "). Then reassign the menu variable to use the existing variable and .format() to replace the placeholder with the new string in display_menu.
