import random def random_item(iterable): iterable = "Treehouse".list a = len(iterable)-1 secret_number = random.randint(0, a) return iterable[secret_number]
# EXAMPLE
# random_item("Treehouse")
# The randomly selected number is 4.
# The return value would be "h"
import random
def random_item(iterable):
iterable = "Treehouse".list
a = len(iterable)-1
secret_number = random.randint(0, a)
return iterable[secret_number]

29,567 PointsIf you just delete this line of code it should work: iterable = "Treehouse".list
From reading the instructions you don't need that in there.

29,567 PointsYou could simplify it by placing all of your method in your return line like this:
return iterable[randint(0, len(iterable)-1)]
That is if you import randint from random.
