Ummm..... You have lots of attributes in there. But I'm going to guess that you mean the ones near the end that mention facebook logo and twitter page. You left out an equals sign. so... alt = "Facebook logo" alt = "Twitter page"

Not sure I understand your issue but I do notice you have 2 orphaned html tags towards the end of your footer. Remove the single </a> and </ul> tags below the twitter image.

Hi Brad,

For this particular challenge you look to be missing the = after the alt on the following lines:

       <img src="img/facebook-wrap.png" alt"facebook logo">

and:

   <img src="img/twitter-wrap.png" alt"twitter page">

You also look to have a closing anchor (/a) and unordered list (/ul) but they aren't needed:

<footer>

       <img src="img/facebook-wrap.png" alt"facebook logo">

   <img src="img/twitter-wrap.png" alt"twitter page">
        </a><!-- This isn't needed -->

      </ul><!-- Neither is this -->

      <p>&copy; 2013 Nick Pettit.</p>
    </footer>

Overall your final footer code should hopefully look like this:

    <footer>
      <img src="img/facebook-wrap.png" alt="facebook logo">
      <img src="img/twitter-wrap.png" alt="twitter page">
      <p>&copy; 2013 Nick Pettit.</p>
    </footer>

Hope that helps :)
