you need to add the attributes nonatomic and strong to your property declaration:

@interface Bling : NSObject

@property(nonatomic, strong) Ruby *ruby;

@end

yeah it doesnt say specifically to add those property attributes, but for most of the challenges if it doesnt specify any attributes go ahead and make it nonatomic and strong just to be safe.
