I don't understand what is wrong with my code, but there must be something wrong with my phrasing. If anyone can offer any assistance, I'd greatly appreciate it.
grocery_item = { "item" => "Bread", "quantity" => 1, "brand" => "Treehouse Bread Company" }
if grocery_item.has_value?("Bread")
grocery_item = { "food" => true }
end

Courses Plus Student 26,868 PointsHi, Jared.
The way you approach this problem is mostly correct, except that the notation you use to re-assign a new value to the existing key on the Hash is wrong.
grocery_item["food"] = true # use [] notation for re-assigning value to key
Cheers.
