1,539 Pointsneed help with the courses, how do I add them?
I can get the amount of values, and I can get the individual amount of courses in each value but cant seem to add them together, please help, thanks so much.
# The dictionary will look something like:
# {'Andrew Chalkley': ['jQuery Basics', 'Node.js Basics'],
# 'Kenneth Love': ['Python Basics', 'Python Collections']}
#
# Each key will be a Teacher and the value will be a list of courses.
#
# Your code goes below here.
def num_teachers(dicts):
return len(dicts.keys())
def num_courses(dicts):
for units in dicts.values():
return(len(units))

231,236 PointsInstead of returning the first length you get, you could create a variable to hold a total, add each length to that total, and then only return the total after the loop has finished.
