Prompt says to call the variable.. how do you do that?
var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
do {
???
}
while ( secret !== "sesame" ) {
secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
}
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

//when I was also doing, I was doing, I did not get, first attempt, from the bummers,
//I was able to get it right
//it is always better to do something, make a mistake, and get some direction from that mistake
//so what I did was like
// having var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?"); on both top and in do {}, for that it gave me a bummer
//then I corrected it
//after that it mentioned, you should not prompt in while {}
//and corrected it
//so. I'd suggest you try make a mistake and learn
var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
do {
}
while ( secret !== "sesame" ) {
secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
}
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Student 16,538 PointsHei Jennifer Riess , one way to the solution would be if you declare an empty secret variable before the loop .
like this:
var secret;
do { secret = prompt("What is the secret password?"); } while (secret !== "sesame");
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");
