12,811 Points'need to call console.log within observer function' - but i all ready am

see my code below for this code challenge for Directives: $observe --
angular.module('myApp', [])
.controller('myController', function ($scope) {
$scope.title = 'My embedded title';
})
.directive('treehouseCourse', function () {
return {
link: function ($scope, $element, $attrs) {
// YOUR CODE HERE
$attrs.$observe('courseTitle', function(change) {
if(change) {
console.log(courseTitle);
}
});

i keep failing on this challenge in this with it telling me, "You need to put your console.log within the observer function." but see above ^^^^ aI all ready am putting it within the $attrs.$observe(...)
function. i don't understand what i am doing wrong here. any help, please, would be appreciated.
