Next, we need the flavor selected in the dropdown to be submitted to this process.php file. We need to be able to access it in the “flavor” element of the $_POST array, like this: $_POST["flavor"]. What two changes do we need to make to the HTML? (Hint. We need to add two new attributes. The first needs to be added to one existing HTML element, the second needs to be added to a different existing HTML element.)

In that 2nd part of the task, you don't need any PHP. You have the post method already done. You just need to add one more attribute to an element. Remember that the task says that we need to access the "flavor" in PHP like this: $_POST["flavor"]; You grab values from a form in PHP by setting their name
attribute equal to a certain value. In this case, you need to set the name
attribute of the select
element to flavor. Also, you shouldn't have a target
attribute in your form element.
<form action="process.php" method="post">
<label for="flavor">Flavor</label>
<!-- Added name to select element so that we can get its value in PHP -->
<select id="flavor" name="flavor">
<option value="">— Select —</option>
<option value="Vanilla">Vanilla</option>
<option value="Chocolate">Chocolate</option>
<option value="Strawberry">Strawberry</option>
<option value="Cookie Dough">Cookie Dough</option>
</select>
<input type="submit" value="Update Order">
</form>
