HTML How to Make a Website Sharing a Website Upload the Website

No "www" folder.

Hello,

When I first log in to my server, it does not have any of the files - I think I deleted them not realizing what I was doing. An unfortunate big oops. Does anyone know how I can retrieve the files? I tried deleting the Cyberduck app and reinstalling it, but that didn’t work - it seems to have a memory.

(If my question is unclear, I am referring to the files Nick refers to at 3:51 in his video "Upload the Website" for the course "How To Make A Website").

Thank you, Jenn

Your server is a separate computer that you're accessing over the internet. Cyberduck is just the way you access it.

If you deleted something on your server, it's gone. If you still have it on your computer, you can simply re-upload it again.

If you deleted a folder, just make a new folder on your server with the same name as the one you deleted. However, if you're using Web Hosting for Students, you can place your website files in the public_html folder, and it'll have the same result as if you placed them in www.
