Not able to solve the problem......

Hi there In this problem i have define the "guess" in side the try but while running the program it showing the error that the "guess" is not define. Please help asap....

squared.py

# squared(5) would return 25
# squared("2") would return 4
# squared("tim") would return "timtimtim"
def squared(num):   
    try:
        guess = int(input(" "))
    except ValueError:
        return (guess * len(guess))
    else:
        return (guess**2)

Hey Prem! In your try block you need to try to return int(num) ** 2 only. No guess or input needed here. In your except, you need to return that num * len(num). The else statement isn't needed now either along with squared(guess). Hope this helps.
