Not recognizing symbol - don't know why

I need to store the number of passengers in mPassengersField

I passed a String to mPassengersField and converted the int from getNumPassengers to a String.

String mPassengersField = Integer.toString(getNumPassengers);

For some reason, the error is saying it cannot find symbol -> getNumPassenger. It's not private so I'm confused.

LandingActivity.java
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.view.View;
import android.widget.Button;
import android.widget.EditText;

public class LandingActivity extends Activity {

    public Button mThrustButton;
    public TextView mTypeLabel;
    public EditText mPassengersField;

    public Spaceship mSpaceship;

    @Override
    public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
        super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
        setContentView(R.layout.activity_landing);

        mThrustButton = (Button)findViewById(R.id.thrustButton);
        mTypeLabel = (TextView)findViewById(R.id.typeTextView);
        mPassengersField = (EditText)findViewById(R.id.passengersEditText);

        // Add your code here!
      mSpaceship = new Spaceship("FIREFLY");
      mTypeLabel.setText(mSpaceship.getType());
      String mPassengersField = Integer.toString(getNumPassengers);
    }
}
Spaceship.java
public class Spaceship {
    private String mType;
    private int mNumPassengers = 0;

    public String getType() {
      return mType;
    }

    public void setType(String type) {
      mType = type;
    }

    public int getNumPassengers() {
      return mNumPassengers;
    }

    public void setNumPassengers(int numPassengers) {
      mNumPassengers = numPassengers;
    }

    public Spaceship() {
      mType = "SHUTTLE";
    }

    public Spaceship(String type) {
      mType = type;
    }
}

Hello,

You have at least two problems with the getNumPassengers you're trying to call. First, you need to be calling it from a Spaceship object, which in this case would be mSpaceship. Second, you need to make sure you put your parenthesis after the mSpaceship with any parameters you would be passing(in this case it would be just () since you don't want to pass any parameters). In the end it should look like mSpaceship.getNumPassengers() instead of just getNumPassengers.

That is at least why its complaining that it cannot find the symbol. Which should at least get you going closer to the answer that is expected by the Challenge. I'll gladly help more if you run into more trouble with this Challenge.
