1,179 PointsNot sure how to initialize NumSides to 4 using the base. The hint provided does not help at all.
Simply need the correct answer to this challenge, and I should be able to figure out the syntax...
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
class Polygon
{
public readonly int NumSides;
public Polygon(int numSides)
{
NumSides = numSides;
}
}
class Square : Polygon
{
public readonly int SideLength;
public Square(int sideLength) : base Polygon (int numSides)
{
numSides = 4;
SideLength = sideLength;
}
}
}

231,269 PointsYou're over-thinking this one.
What the hint was trying to say is to literally pass the number 4 as the argument to base:
public Square(int sideLength) : base(4)
Also, there's no numSides (with lower-case "n") property (nor is one needed).
