Not sure how to phrase my method so it works

def decrypt(v) index = 0 alphabet = "abcdefghijklmopqrstuvqxyz" while index < v.length if v[index] == " " puts v[index] = " " else puts alphabet[v[index-1]] end index += 1 end end

decrypt ("afe")

I'm trying to build a method that replaces each letter in a string with the letter before it. For example, N's would turn to M's. Also, it has to leave the spaces as spaces.
