8,068 PointsNot sure what I am doing wrong here. How do I return the statement?
Is my syntax wrong? Or am I just approaching this wrong all together?
function getYear() {
var year = new Date().getFullyear();
return year;
}

Treehouse Guest TeacherHello Jennifer,
You're so close! The only issue is, because JavaScript is case-sensitive, the function name getFullyear should have a capital Y in "Year".
...
var year = new Date().getFullYear();
...
I hope this helps.
Happy Coding :)
