Not sure what I'm doing wrong:

Don't really know what to do. Need help!

ruby.rb
def check_speed(car_speed)
  # write your code here
  car_speed.to_i
  if (car_speed >= 40) && (car_speed <=50)
    return "safe"
  elsif
    return "unsafe"
  end
end

Hi Daniel Graf!

The problem is that you write elsif instead of else.

Like what Ethan Rivas said, you should replace "elsif" with "else". Also, there is no need for the car_speed.to_i part.

This code will work:

def check_speed(car_speed)
  # write your code here
  if (car_speed >= 40) && (car_speed <=50)
    return "safe"
  else
    return "unsafe"
  end
end

Hope that helps! :dizzy:
