Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types Use .split() and .join()

not sure what i'm doing wrong

the program is telling me to us .split() but i did use it, not sure what i did wrong

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
"banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white".split(' ; ')
sundaes = ["banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"]

You're pretty close. Try replacing what you have in the variable sundaes with what you have on line 2 like this:

sundaes = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white".split(' ; ')

you may also want to try

sundaes = available.split(';')
