Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types Use .split() and .join()

Not sure what I'm doing wrong on 'Python Basics' with the format command.

I've tried using the .format(display_menu) directly after the menu string just like I did before, but it isn't working. I was thinking that this is, because it is called after the menu variable is actually set.

banana.py 
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(";")
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(display_menu)
display_menu = sundaes.join(", ")

menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(", ".join(sundaes)) Found out what I did wrong, and the solution is the above. I thought I had to add my last line of code to the previous just didn't know for sure.
