iOS Swift Basics Swift Types String Manipulation

Not sure what it's saying is wrong.

let name = "Phil" let greeting = "Hi there, " let constant = "(greeting)(name)"

Shows up Correctly in xcode, but it says it's wrong on the site...

strings.swift
let name = "Phil"
let greeting = "Hi there, "
let constant = "\(greeting)\(name)"

I have the same problem!

it doesn't ask you to make a constant named constant. your code may technically work, but to pass the challenges you typically have to do exactly and only what is asked.

Figured it out

The greeting needs to be interpolated, and you only need two lines of code to do it!

The line I made for greeting and constant should be the same line.
