not sure what is wrong with my if/else statement

14,350 PointsYou are close, but you need to remove the semicolon from the if statement, also, IMO this is a better and more conventional formatting
var answer = prompt('What is the best programming language?');
if (answer === 'JavaScript') {
alert("You are correct");
} else {
alert("JavaScript is the best language!");
}
