Hi Jacob,

You're definitely on the right track, you just need to adjust the conditions in the last two else/if statements.

The second last one needs to be greater than 9 not 10.

The last one you need to adjust the first comparison to test for less or equal to 9 and the logical operators need to be && (and) instead of || (or).

Here is the corrected code for your reference.

var today = 'Friday'

if ( money >= 100 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time to go to the theater");    
} else if ( money >= 50 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie and dinner");    
} else if ( money > 9 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie");   
} else if ( money <= 9 && 'Friday' ) {

The task is to change the logical operators having in mind the strings that are being alerted. Like this:

var today = 'Friday'

if ( money >= 100 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time to go to the theater");    
} else if ( money >= 50 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie and dinner");    
} else if ( money > 10 && today === 'Friday' ) {
